Jenny Welsh in the Staff Spotlight

Parkmans operates as one team working from our three offices in Abercarn, Blackwood and Cardiff Bay. All of the team are highly skilled and dedicated to ensuring that our clients receive the best level of service one could expect. We never forget that we are dealing with people's lives and homes as well as their investments.

This month, we have turned our ‘employee spotlight’ on Jenny Welsh, our Senior Property Manager & Negotiator who is based in our Abercarn office. Jenny is our most valued and longest serving member of staff who has provided almost 30 years of loyal service.

Jenny is the face of our business dealing mainly with property management, undertaking property viewings and possible rental appraisals. Jenny offers the friendliest and accommodating approach to all our clients and is therefore known on a first name basis by all providing a very personal service with a wealth of local knowledge and a warm smile.

Jenny’s day to day duties include: meeting and interviewing new tenants; property viewings, preparing schedules and inventories; final check out inspections, then dealing with final check out faults; bond negotiations; arranging fire safety checks and dealing with the outcomes; arranging annual fire equipment checks i.e. fire extinguishers and blankets; meeting new Landlords, carrying out market rental appraisals of properties. Jenny is the quickest to answer a telephone call when in the office, and if you’re lucky you will receive her friendly greeting.

In her spare time Jenny enjoys reading, shopping and goes out socialising occasionally.
